Tesla’s Masterplan 3: Tl;dr They want to mine a shit ton of minerals – so much for the carbon offset

So, this can be a nasty take, however, name me silly or no matter, doesn't this masterplan simply say they wish to mine a fuck ton of minerals and primarily grow to be a large mining firm, undoing all of the so referred to as 'renewable power' output that they’re doing by offsetting all of it by means of the environmental impacts of mining?

How is that this any totally different than drilling for fossil fuels, to not point out, the factories and mining machines and tools, will most likely have to make use of fossil fuels, no? Or are they gunna use all electrical stuff? Gained't this simply offset all of the work they've been doing, claiming to be sustainable? Wtf?

To not be a Tesla bear right here, I'm simply making an attempt to take a look at this objectively and never by means of rose-tinted glasses of being a Musk fanboy.

Anybody with some good arguments or professional ideas right here? I’m actually curious what y'all suppose, and I'm in search of actual rational goal considering and am all ears. I'm additionally in search of sources that tackle my important challenge right here. What am I lacking?
