(Reuters) – Amazon.com (NASDAQ:) was hit with a criticism on Wednesday over allegedly refusing to cut price with a New York employees union, a spokesperson for the Nationwide Labor Relations Board (NLRB) stated.

The NLRB common counsel, which acts as a prosecutor, is looking for cures that embrace ordering Amazon to cut price in good religion with the union representing employees at its JFK8 facility within the New York Metropolis borough of Staten Island, a spokesperson for the labor relations board stated.

Amazon and the union didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.

Employees at Amazon’s JFK8 success heart in Staten Island voted to affix the Amazon Labor Union (ALU) final yr, a primary for the corporate in the US. An NLRB official rejected Amazon’s bid to overturn the outcomes of the JFK8 election in January this yr.
